Dr. Hoang

Dr. Hoang is a native of Kansas where she attended Kansas State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s in Biology. After completion of her undergraduate studies, she was accepted into the University of Houston College of Optometry where she received her doctorate. During her time there she was awarded the Johnson & Johnson Award of Excellence in Contact Lens Patient Care, the Ocular Instruments Award of Excellence, and the Optometric Student Association Image Award. She was also inducted into the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society which recognizes upperclassmen who demonstrated outstanding professional and ethical attitude through leadership and service to their class, college, and profession. Following graduation, Dr. Hoang was accepted into a post-doctorate residency program specializing in ocular diseases and ocular surgery management in Denver.

Dr. Hoang is committed to serving the community through volunteer work with organizations such as Von’s Vision and Special Olympics. She is an active member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. She is fluent in Vietnamese. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and watching Survivor.
